Description of Role
The Ecommerce Manager is responsible for driving revenue, conversion, providing a seasonless customer experience and delivering optimum performance for the SABA website. You will own and optimise the online boutique in line with the brand DNA, to ensure best in class customer journey experience and sales targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
Trade
Trade the website and marketplaces to deliver sales & profit targets.
Work with the digital marketing team to optimise experience for various traffic channels and provide insights for constant improvement.
Analyse the site and provide insights to the product and planning teams to optimise stock availability across categories, styles, sizes and future opportunities.
Implement actions from weekly trade reports provided by the planning & product teams.
Manage the ecommerce coordinator to ensure product, promotions and website content is accurate and live on time.
Review all website activity before launch to live site
Ensure website are trading effectively, including the management of onsite merchandising, site search optimization and AB testing strategies to deliver best practice customer experience. Propose hypotheses for new AB tests, execute and action insights from each test.
Reporting
Accurately report on weekly website performance to deliver actionable insights and produce weekly action plans.
Provide insights on site traffic and key eCommerce metrics with Google Analytics, online dashboards, and relevant business tools.
Complete weekly, monthly and Qtrly reporting for all digital activities including customer interactions, sales, fulfilment, conversion rates, visitation, product performance, revenue, GP, Online contribution, average basket, and time to purchase.
Provide detailed email campaign analysis and reports with data-driven insights and improvement initiatives.
Customer Journey
Understand the customer journey and touch points across the website.
Lead website updates and initiatives to constantly improve the customer experience and journey and tactics to increase conversion and dwell time; reduce bounce rate and cart abandonment.
Liaise with marketing, logistics, retail, and customer care teams to optimise the customer experience of all omni-channel initiatives.
Manage online user experience, including design, testing and deployment.
Own SEO and implement CRO recommendations based off testing insights.
Work with our ecommerce suppliers to implement new platform features.
Recommend commercial development requirements to enhance online experience.
Working with the brand and creative teams to ensure the site is on brand in terms of navigation, structure, and content.
EDM
Manage Email Marketing strategies together with marketing and product teams, including content, personalisation & segmentation strategy, re-engagement plans and driving the acquisition of new sign ups.
Work cross-functionally with the Marketing and Creative teams to develop and execute engaging email, SMS & Push campaigns in line with our core marketing calendar and tactical initiatives.
Develop segmentation, content, and contact strategies to improve the effectiveness of the EDM & direct traffic channel.
Take ownership of the end-to-end process of email creation from briefing, development, testing, feedback, and deployment.
Optimise and manage all trigger and journey-based campaigns including abandon cart, welcome vouchers, anniversary, and birthday campaigns.
Evaluate and improve internal workflows with a focus on process and efficiency to drive frequency.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of industry trends and best-practices to continuously test and optimise channel performance.
