About the Position
Anu Merton is seeking an ambitious operations professional to oversee its E-commerce business sales & operations in Jaipur. You should be energetic, planned, good at people management, detail & data oriented. You will report directly to Anu Merton and her leadership team, learn the ropes of the fast-growing e-commerce industry and learn from the best.
The Ideal Candidate
• 5-10 years' experience in relevant field (retail, ops, apparel, inventory, category management etc)
• Preferred experience managing P&L targets (eg: sales, margins, costs inventory) and Managing vendors & negotiations)
• Self-starter, ready to take on new challenges.
• Positive attitude and ability to work with team
• Strong knowledge of business operations and sales.
• Interested in developing SOPs and implementing.
• Strong and effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator
Roles/Responsibilities
P&L for ecommerce unit:
• Own & achieve category financial targets & KPI's (Eg: On Time Delivery, revenue, margins, cost) by guiding, coordinating and overseeing marketing, merchandizing and all other cross-functional teams as required
• Plan, optimize and maintain inventory SKU levels by coordinating with Anu Merton and the product/merchandising teams.
Managing teams
• Manage team leads and employees of all ops units (eg: inventory / warehouse, logistics, packing supply chain) and guide & oversee units to ensure targets achieved & QC-errors low, low team attrition and high engagement
• Set goals & KPI's for individual teams for all ops-metrics (sales, QC, productivity, cost etc); Coordinate with finance and marketing teams to ensure ops KPI's are in line with Sales Plan, Budget and Marketing Plan
• Create SOPs as required, ensure SOPs are constantly updated and followed; automate processes wherever possible to ensure productivity and quality targets are achieved.
Operations oversight:
• Oversee operations (e.g., warehouse manager, quality vendor management) to ensure on time delivery % and stock levels are maintained, products are displayed properly (quality images, rich description etc) and efficiently (low time-to-site, high uploads per day)
• Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors, ensure that problems with deliveries are identified and long-term solutions are implemented.
• Work with Anu Merton to identify new vendors and ensure they are properly onboarded and briefed about expectations and our methods of gathering data.
• Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing & tech teams to provide visibility to the right products, target the right customer profiles, and maintain high brand positioning and shopping experience. Conceptualize and drive omni-channel initiatives, by working seamless with peers
