Key Responsibilities :
• E-Commerce Strategy Development : Develop and implement e-commerce strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives, including sales targets, customer acquisition, and brand positioning.
• Platform Management : Oversee the management and optimization of all e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce), ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers.
• Team Leadership : Lead and manage the e-commerce team, including digital marketing specialists, content creators, and web developers.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Digital Marketing : Design and execute multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media, to drive traffic, conversions, and customer loyalty.
• User Experience (UX) : Continuously improve the user experience on the website by implementing best practices in site design, navigation, checkout processes, and mobile optimization.
• Merchandising & Inventory Management : Oversee product merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory management to maximize sales and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
• Analytics & Reporting : Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value.
Generate regular reports and insights to inform decision-making.
• Customer Journey Optimization : Enhance the customer journey by identifying and addressing pain points, improving site speed, and ensuring the website is responsive and user-friendly.
• Budget Management : Manage the e-commerce budget, including marketing spend, technology investments, and personnel costs.
Ensure all activities are cost-effective and align with financial goals.
• Vendor & Partner Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors, technology partners, and agencies to ensure optimal performance and support for e-commerce initiatives.
• Market Research & Innovation : Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to keep the company’s e-commerce operations competitive and innovative.
Qualifications :
• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-Commerce, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
• Experience : Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in e-commerce management, with a proven track record of driving online sales growth and leading cross-functional teams.
• Skills :
• In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, AdWords, Facebook Ads Manager)
• Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media strategies
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies
• Proficient in project management and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website content management systems
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
