Job Description
Our company is looking for a eCommerce Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives and sprint demos when appropriate;
• Installing and integrating new cartridges;
• Develop, test and deploy eCommerce platform features, optimizations, bug fixes, custom functionality and integrations;
• Work closely with Project and Product Management for setting project priorities and scoping decisions;
• Performing build & release operations (merging and replicating when needed).
Requirements:
• 2+ years experience as a Commerce Cloud (Demandware) Developer;
• Able to thrive in a team environment where collaboration is key;
• Comfortable working with workflow and communication tools like JIRA and Slack;
• Deep understanding of E-commerce, the topology of commerce systems and the E-commerce ecosystem;
• 3-5+ years of web development experience focusing on authoring HTML, CSS, Jquery/JavaScript, and at least one Server Side language (eg Node.js);
• Ability to write high-performance, scalable, reusable code;
• Experience in code versioning and related tools such as Git;
• Experience in both Agile & Waterfall environments;
• SFCC Certified Developer or SFCC Certified Architect;
• Experience developing integrations with third-party systems via APIs/web services
