Hiring for a Leading Private Sector Bank
Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Economics Research:
- Analyses and comments on Indian Economy and Financial Markets and publishes scheduled thematic reports on the same.
- Works on developing subject matter expertise and attends trainings to enhance content knowledge and adds to in-house intelligence.
- Develops research on currency markets and macroeconomics
- Tracks key global cues and reports and analyses major global macroeconomic trends and events.
2. Research Dissemination:
- Collaborates with BDTS to develop a BEB platform on bank's website to provide access to research reports.
- Collaborates with internal bank business units to disseminate research through social media platforms.
- Expands knowledge base on Bank's relevant sectors and synergize with macro & policy research for reports & client engagement.
- Updates internal databases, expansion of database, forecasting of macro variables, and collaboration with IT for superior delivery of BEB communication.
3. Client Engagement:
- Engages with external clients and provides quality strategic inputs to internal business units.
- Publishes regular reports, flash notes, and thematics for external circulation and Bank's client engagement.
- Participates actively in Relationship Manager - Client conference calls.
- Participates actively in client engagement through presentations, research reports for clients.
- Builds the Bank's external brand through BEB research and thought leadership with key stakeholders.
4. Risk Management:
- Ensures Credit Risk management by building stress testing model for banking sector and fine tuning it for the bank's current portfolio.
- Ensures Market Risk management by building stress testing models for market variables.
- Participates in the Risk Management Committee, ALCO and Investment Committee meetings to ensure risk management
