Job Overview:
We're looking for a Full time EDI Analyst to help us improve our data quality and efficiency. Responsible for the implementation of electronic data interchange connections between our client and external parties. Perform application configuration, mapping and monitoring of EDI transactions and processes.
Responsibilities:
Maintain documentation for all EDI Processes.
Proactively review and provide data analysis and financial impact assessment.
Responsible for compliance involving internal and external applications, onboarding new partners and clients, changing existing setups, new platform integration with EDI, communications and successful processing of all transactions.
Maintains existing trading partner profiles and mappings while working with internal customer demands and interface applications.
Provides advice and education to clients concerning EDI guidelines and capabilities.
Creates, develops, and produces mapping documents.
Collaborates with Support/IT and internal staff (RCM team) to develop and test new or modified systems.
Develops and maintains communication links with trading partners and oversees integration of information.
Periodically reviews system to ensure client needs are met; identifies possible modifications as required.
Remains current regarding EDI and internet field technological developments.
Promote continuous improvement and best practice in processes and performance for improving billing, timeliness, and ensuring data accuracy.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in EDI-Medical Billing
Bachelor's degree in business administration, information management, or related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic understanding and working knowledge of EDI formats and Internet functions.
Creative problem-solving required to design a system that meets client’s individual needs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
