Job Description
Tripoto is looking for an editor to join our team in New Delhi. We are looking for someone with a palpable love of travel, who will work with our team of writers, freelancers, designers and interns, to create and curate quality online content.
The content we produce is provocative, unique and some of the very best on the web and you will be responsible for guiding them from conception to publication and promotion. You will be the driver of exceptionalism and evolution in our content and ideas If you are progressive, tenacious and perpetually curious, you will be welcome at Tripoto
Responsibilities
• Create, edit and curate online content, overseeing projects from inception to publication
• Manage Tripoto staff writers, freelancers and their project pipelines
• Find other talented content writers
• Promote content across social platforms
• Instigate meaningful conversations. About everything
Requirements
• 2-4 years of editing experience, either online or print
• Familiarity with or curiosity about working in a start-up
• Understanding of how stories work, specifically for the web
• Established social media presence, particularly on Twitter
• Interest in writing original features of one's own
• Relationships with writers/bloggers/photographers who could contribute
• Extensive travel experience and insights into the sub-culture of backpackers and globetrotters
