About the role
An exciting role supporting The Australian Women's Weekly brand, covering areas such as vodcast, print, digital, social media, events, and more. It will also involve providing administrative assistance to the senior leadership of The Australian Women’s Weekly, while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including commercial teams, marketing, and readers.
The position encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, from office and project management to event and production coordination, alongside general administrative tasks. We're seeking a proactive, mature individual who is confident in taking on new challenges. This role offers excellent opportunities for growth and learning.
Duties
Provide administrative support to The Australian Women’s Weekly editorial leadership team, including managing reader enquiries, invoicing, expense reconciliation and maintaining files and schedules.
Coordinate team meetings, travel and events, and assist with key brand initiatives including editorial shoots, vodcasts, social content and flagship experiences such as The Australian Women’s Weekly Health Summit and Love Stories.
Support production logistics across print, digital and video by organising studio bookings, preparing call sheets, coordinating release forms and assisting with on-the-day shoot support.
Manage talent logistics including scheduling, travel, hair and makeup, and collecting key assets such as photography, bios and social handles for editorial and marketing use.
Work closely with editorial, marketing and commercial teams to ensure production timelines, campaigns and deliverables are met.
Assist with budget tracking, invoicing and expense reconciliation, and support the preparation of presentations and reports for key meetings.
Help coordinate company events, internal communications and team activities while maintaining organised documentation across projects and productions.
Skills and experience
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, positive and solutions-focused with a strong attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships.
Confident using Microsoft Office and preparing presentations, reports and documentation.
Professional and reliable with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
Interest in media, content production, events or publishing is highly desirable.
