Search Education is seeking a results-driven Education Counsellor to join our growing education and migration team in Sydney. This role is focused on sales and client conversion—engaging with prospective students, understanding their goals, and guiding them toward the best education options in Australia.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong people skills, education counselling experience, and cultural understanding of Malaysian or Indonesian student markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct consultations with prospective students (in-person, online, or by phone)
Understand students’ education and migration goals, and recommend suitable courses
Convert leads into successful enrolments
Follow up with leads, respond to enquiries, and manage a strong sales pipeline
Collaborate with the migration team on visa-related matters
Participate in webinars, outreach events, and marketing campaigns
Achieve monthly enrolment targets and contribute to the team’s success
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in international student counselling or education sales
Proven ability to convert leads into enrolments
Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
Malaysian or Indonesian background preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Sales-focused and results-oriented with follow-up discipline
Based in Sydney and legally allowed to work in Australia (student visa holders welcome)
