Responsibilities:
1. Student Guidance and Counseling
Advise students on academic plans, course selection, career options, and educational pathways.
Guide students in setting academic and career goals.
2. Admissions Support
Assist prospective students in understanding admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and course offerings.
Counsel walk-ins, leads from various channels (calls, emails, campaigns), and help convert inquiries into admissions.
3. Information Dissemination
Provide accurate and updated information about institutions, courses, scholarships, entrance exams, and visa procedures (if applicable).
4. Follow-Up and Conversion
Follow up with leads via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
Maintain records of student interactions and track their progress through the enrollment process.
5. Collaboration with Other Departments
Coordinate with the marketing team for lead generation campaigns.
Work with academic departments to ensure proper placement and student satisfaction.
6. Student Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with students to support retention and satisfaction.
Address student concerns and offer post-enrollment support.
7. Data Handling and Reporting
Maintain student databases, generate reports on conversion metrics, and analyze counseling performance.
8. Workshops and Seminars
Organize and participate in career guidance sessions, webinars, or education fairs.
