Space Organization in 2016 established the first and one of a kind concept, “Astroport” that revolutionized Astro-Tourism. The concept is disruptive and focuses on establishing eco-friendly resorts that promote Astronomy and some of the activities include Star Gazing, Telescope Handling, etc. The strategically designed serene sites located in the nature’s lap, which are far away from the polluted cities, brings a heavy twinkling sky above, and nearby popular tourist attractions to ensure a totally new blended experience of Amusement, Adventure and Exposure. Astronomy learning makes it a must visit place for all categories of travellers. Astroports are built to provide not only the comforts and facilities of a ‘conventional’ tourist destination but also to help inculcate feelings of exploration and learning through our well researched and well-presented programs/activities curated for Astroport travellers.
The following Job Requirement is for an Education Officer that can cater to tourists at Astroports and feed them with integral and fun knowledge of Astronomy and Space.
Astronomy and Astronomy Equipment Training will be provided for approximate duration of 40 days before the Education Officer is assigned to their roles and responsibilities.
