Desired: Graduation in Psychology, Graduation in psychology with PG diploma / Certification in counseling Psychology or related subject, diploma in special education, diploma in guidance and counseling.
Job Description
• Identifying the students with learning / emotional / behavioral concerns in the classroom
for all the grades from 1-12.
• Creating individualized plans for the special needs children.
• Conducting individual or group sessions for children
• Conducting workshops for children, Parents, Teachers Provide counseling to all the
stakeholders involved with the children under treatment- parents, teachers, shadow
teachers, outsourced centers, and other allied therapists.
• Create and maintain database of all the cases on a monthly basis.
• Refer for outsourced assessments as and when required post approvals from the
Department.
• Achieve the goals set for the year.
• Create aids and other resources for working with the children under treatment.
• Assist with the admissions of special needs children along with the IEC.
• Assist with the invigilation and provisions for the special needs children.
• Reporting to Inclusive Education cell (IEC) Mumbai for action plan for the school.
• Meetings with the Hub In charge on a monthly basis to maintain a follow up for all the
cases under treatment.
• Monitoring the pre-primary students for any concerns along with the Hub In charge.
