Celebrations Speech Group is actively seeking a passionate and credentialed Education Specialist or Special Education Teacher for a full-time, in-person position at an elementary school in Redwood City, CA. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a key role in case management, IEP development, and delivering specialized instruction to help students with diverse learning needs achieve academic success.

Your Impactful Role Includes
• Delivering tailored, intensive instruction to elementary students with special needs, using a variety of instructional models designed to foster academic growth.
• Conducting standardized assessments and individualized testing to support IEP goals and academic plans.
• Leading the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, psychologists, and other service providers, to provide comprehensive support for students.
• Creating and adapting curriculum and instructional materials to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Training and supporting general education teachers, paraeducators, and other staff in delivering specialized instruction.
• Maintaining meticulous records, ensuring all digital and physical files are up-to-date and compliant with special education requirements.
• Working alongside the Director of Special Education and other specialists to develop inclusive practices and accommodations for students, utilizing co-teaching, push-in, and pull-out models.
Qualifications We’re Looking For
• Required: Valid California Education Specialist and/or Special Education Teaching Credential (CTC).
• A minimum of 1 year of Special Education experience (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, students, and families.
• Knowledge of Special Education law and policies, with the ability to implement compliant IEPs.
• Technologically savvy, able to manage student data and documentation.
• A positive, adaptable mindset and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
