About the role

As the Education Support Officer, you will play a leading role within the portfolio, providing effective administrative support to the Education Centre while working under the supervision of the Education Centre Manager.

You will also:

Provide administrative and operational support to the Education Centre, including managing email and phone enquiries, record keeping, reporting, and secretariat support.
Coordinate administration of the Learning Management System, including uploading and maintaining course content, supporting participant enquiries, monitoring evaluations, and liaising with subject matter experts to ensure deadlines are met.
Support Education Centre event logistics, including national conferences, summits, branch and interest group events, and internal initiatives.
Oversee the Resource Library, including monitoring submissions, reviews, and expirations.
Assist with the administration of member resources, including ProQuest, Practice Based Evidence in Nutrition (PEN), eNCPT, and the Nutrition and Dietetics Journal, where required.
Contribute to portfolio quality improvement initiatives to support continuous evaluation of Education Centre activities and processes.
Respond to enquiries in a timely and accurate manner via phone, email, or in person, referring matters as appropriate.
Maintain and update policies, procedures, manuals, contact information, and other essential operational documentation.
About you

This is an entry-level role, well suited to a recent or newly graduated professional seeking to build experience in education support within a health or professional services environment.

You will bring:

A recently completed tertiary qualification in nutrition, dietetics, health sciences, education, public health, science, or a related discipline.

Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

A proactive and collaborative approach, with a willingness to learn and develop under supervision.

Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records, documentation, and data.

An interest in education delivery, professional development, or member-based services within a health or not-for-profit context.

Experience in administrative support, customer service, education coordination, or event support (including through placements, internships, or part-time roles) will be well regarded but is not essential.
