About this Position: The California Department of Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical support to students, teachers, and families, helping to create a positive and productive learning environment.
Main Responsibilities:
Support students with special needs in the classroom and beyond
Assist in developing and implementing individualized education plans
Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure student success
Maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks
Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience working with children, especially those with special needs, an asset
Knowledge of child development principles and instructional processes necessary
Valid California Driver's License required
