Richmond Christian School is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Educational Assistant.
This is a fixed-term, part-time contract Aug 25, 2026 - Oct 31, 2026.
About the Position
The Educational Assistant (EA) will work to support students, under the direction of the classroom teacher, both class wide as well as in small groups or one-to-one. The EA should have strong collaboration and communication skills in order to work best with classroom teachers and should show flexibility to best meet student needs. Specifically for this role, the EA will mainly support a students with emotional and social supports.
This role is an on-site position located at our Middle Campus located at 10200 Number 5 Road, Richmond. Please note that the posted compensation range reflects a full-time EA role working the full school school year. As this is a fixed-term part-time contract role, compensation will be pro-rated accordingly.
Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience
The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment towards Christian Education and an ability to anticipate the needs of a diverse group of learners. The ideal candidate also demonstrates a foundational knowledge in working within the Positive Behaviour Support framework.
Current certification from an accredited Educational Assistant Program or related certification such as Behaviour Interventionist.
Evidence of course work or experience with exceptional and unique learners
