Assignment:
Full-time 1.0 FTE Temporary replacement Educational Assistant position
Working directly with an individual student or in small groups of students in an Elementary classroom setting
A typical day would involve working one-on-one with an individual student, while also providing supervision of additional students throughout the day
Duties to commence August 27, 2026 and will continue until December 1+, 2026
Qualifications:
Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant
Experience supporting students and children with behavioural needs would be considered an asset
Responsible for one-to-one work with a single student
Ability to support literacy and numeracy
Willingness to work in an active, team-orientated learning environment
Additional responsibilities would include indoor and outdoor supervision duties
Current First Aid and SIVA training would be considered an asset
