Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Student Counsellor to manage and convert student inquiries into successful admissions at Gandhinagar University. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, following up with prospective students, conducting campus visits, and supporting them through the enrollment process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle telephonic and online inquiries received through various marketing platforms.
• Counsel prospective students on available programs, eligibility, and career opportunities.
• Follow up with leads to ensure regular communication and build trust.
• Visit Gandhinagar University campus to guide walk-in inquiries and provide campus tours when necessary.
• Assist students in the application and enrollment process.
• Maintain a record of daily calls, visits, and conversions in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with the university admission team to ensure smooth processing.
• Represent the company and university in a professional and ethical manner.
Skills & Requirements:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Fluent in Gujarati, Hindi & English).
• Confidence in public speaking and one-on-one interaction.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and understand student concerns.
• Familiarity with education counseling or admissions process is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office & CRM software preferred.
• Self-motivated and target-oriented mindset.
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree (Any Stream).
• 0–2 years of experience in counseling, telecalling, or admission support (Freshers can apply).
