Job Description
The ideal candidate for this role requires post-secondary education or industry training in the area of sales, financial and/or accounting services.
Excellent English language skills, written and oral, are required as well as proficiency at digital communications. The candidate must be highly organized, a quick study and have experience using online software systems including CRM, Microsoft Office, cloud-based filing, Zoom, Teams and calendar tools. The successful candidate will also enjoy providing orientations and virtual campus demonstrations. This is an in-office position with flexible hours and great benefits.
Demonstrate strong active listening skills; expertise in the sales process
Develop and maintain exceptional product knowledge
Professionally engage with existing and prospective clients, establishing rapport while quickly determining needs and converting inquiries to registrations
Provide short, thorough virtual campus tours and course demonstrations to help prospective clients and new registrants to help make sound choices.
Achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales quotas for new leads and retention of existing clients.
Provide excellent client support through deep product knowledge
Input prospect information into CRM
Develop a pipeline of new leads through network, referrals, contacts
Follow-up on all referrals promptly and regularly
Link client needs to appropriate product/program
Register students, take orders, assist in finalizing course selection decisions, process payments, following up on credit card declines or other delinquencies
Engage new clients in campus orientations and follow-ups to ensure a successful academic journey.
Congratulate graduates and direct graduates to next course/program
Explain the VIP Grad affinity program and invite graduates to their Graduation ceremony.
Highly customer centric – with a love for providing exceptional customer service
At least two years of experience in sales/client services with excellent phone and digital communications skills
A demonstrated ability to close sales
Highly computer savvy with strong English language verbal, written and presentation skills.
Second language skills a definite plus
Experience working with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, with proficiency, and accuracy in using Microsoft products – Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT, etc.
Knowledge and interest in the competencies required to work in the tax, legal, accounting, bookkeeping and financial services industries and in financial literacy
Knowledge of Knowledge Bureau’s mission, vision, course offerings and educational philosophy
Self-motivated with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Post-secondary education and graduation from a Knowledge Bureau program an asset
A team player with demonstrated Integrity, confidentiality and reliability.
