Faculty Training Program 2026-25
Role: Educator
Subjects to choose from:
JEE (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) and NEET (Physics/Chemistry/Botany/ Zoology)
Training Duration: 6 Months (October 2026 - March 2026)
Start Date: 3 October 2026
Stipend during the training: ₹15,000 per month.
Type of Employment: Training + Full-Time Contract (FTC), basis the successful completion of your training
CTC as Full-Time Contract (FTC):
₹6,00,000 per annum (Please note, a 10% security deposit will be deducted monthly and credited back after one year)
About the Role:
Unacademy is excited to launch its Faculty Training Program 2026-25 a comprehensive 6-month training program aimed at nurturing the next generation of educators. This program is designed for recent graduates and passionate individuals eager to kickstart their teaching careers in competitive exam coaching, specifically JEE (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and NEET (Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology).
Upon successful completion of the training, candidates can get an opportunity for a full-time teaching role with Unacademy, contributing to our mission of democratizing education in India.
Key Responsibilities:
• Training & Development: Participate actively in a structured training program that includes subject-specific content, teaching methodologies, and classroom management skills.
• Content Delivery: Engage in live teaching demos, refining your ability to deliver complex concepts in a clear, engaging manner.
• Assessment & Feedback: Undergo continuous assessment and provide feedback to improve both your teaching methods and student learning outcomes.
• Curriculum Mastery: Develop deep subject matter expertise in your chosen discipline (JEE or NEET).
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior educators and mentors to enhance your teaching techniques and content delivery.
• Content Creation: Create content for the respective subjects and tests as per the requirements.
• Solving Doubts: Help learners in solving their doubts.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have the following academic qualifications based on the subject they wish to teach:
• JEE Physics: BTech or MTech or MSc or MBBS or higher degree in Physics
• JEE Chemistry: BTech, MTech or MSc or MBBS or higher degree in Chemistry
• JEE Mathematics: BTech, MTech or MSc or higher degree in Mathematics
• NEET Physics: BTech, MTech or MSc or MBBS or higher degree in Physics
• NEET Chemistry: BTech, MTech or MSc or MBBS or higher degree in Chemistry
• NEET Botany: MSc in Botany, Biotechnology or MBBS or higher degree in Botany
• NEET Zoology: MSc in Zoology, BDS, or Veterinary Science or MBBS or higher degree in Zoology
Selection Process:
The selection process includes the following stages, conducted in person at one of our designated centers:
1. Subject Test: An in-depth assessment covering the full syllabus of your chosen subject at the centre. Bring your laptop/smartphone for the test.
2. Live Teaching Demo: A practical teaching demonstration where you will present a topic of your choice in front of experienced educators.
3. Personal Interview: A final interview to assess your fit for the program and the role.
Assessment Dates:
Assessments will be held in September 2026, on the following dates:
• 4th September
• 8th September
• 15th September
• 22nd September
Assessment, Interviews & Training Locations:
Candidates will be assessed, interviewed and trained in one of the following cities, depending on their chosen subject.
