Contract:
Start Date: June 2026
End Date: August 2026
What you will do:
Coordinate and communicate travel details for participants, presenters and staff.
Booking all amenities for a seven day in-service (ie vehicle rental, hotels, meals, etc).
Maintain accurate expense tracking
Assist with in-service content planning when possible, participating in collaborator meetings and post in-service follow ups.
Assist with delivery of in-service at multiple venues.
Assist with project communications and raising community awareness.
What you will bring:
High School Diploma is required
At least 2 years of administrative experience is required
A valid driver’s license is required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Keen attention to detail, ability to balance multiple priorities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Experience or interest in working with teachers/educators.
Working Conditions:
Mobilize and conduct programming in all weather conditions
Ability to lift light loads (up to 30 lbs), pull a wagon of resources around Zoo Grounds, set up and take down tables and chairs
Some desk and computer work
The Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo is an outdoor facility and all staff working at the zoo must be comfortable working in a large variety of outdoor conditions. The Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo follows the advice of Environment Canada when responding to temperature and air quality issues.
