Our research-backed, visually rich products are used in schools worldwide, and we're excited to be launching a literacy pilot program across Florida schools.
We're looking for passionate, experienced educators to join us as Freelance Training Consultants — helping classroom teachers get the most out of our literacy tools and embedding great practice from day one.
The Role
As an Educator Training Consultant, you will deliver engaging, hands-on professional development sessions to teachers in Florida schools participating in our literacy pilot. You'll be the face of Mrs. Wordsmith in the classroom, helping educators understand our approach, use our materials confidently, and connect them to their existing teaching practice.
This is a flexible, rewarding opportunity for retired teachers who love working with educators and want to stay connected to the world of education.
What You'll Do

• Introduce Mrs. Wordsmith's literacy products, methodology, and best practices to teaching staff
• Facilitate Q&A, discussion, and hands-on exploration of materials
• Support teachers in understanding how to integrate Mrs. Wordsmith resources into their daily lessons
• Provide brief written feedback to the Mrs. Wordsmith team following each school visit
• Travel to assigned schools within your region of Florida as required
Who We're Looking For
• Interim / retired or semi-retired teacher with a strong background in literacy, English Language Arts, or early/elementary education
• Experience delivering or participating in professional development for teachers
• Confident, warm communicator who can engage and inspire fellow educators
• Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and managing travel logistics
• Familiarity with Florida's education landscape is a strong plus
• Valid Florida driver's license and ability to travel within the state
