Job Title: Delivery Driver
Job Summary:
A Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods from one location to another, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers or clients. This role may involve driving various types of vehicles, depending on the employer's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Loading and Unloading: Safely load goods onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring they are secure and well-organized. Unload items at the delivery location.
Route Planning: Plan delivery routes to optimize time and fuel efficiency, considering traffic and weather conditions.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle maintenance, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, delivery confirmations, and mileage logs.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and responsive to customer inquiries and requests.
Safety: Follow all safety guidelines and traffic laws to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road.
Time Management: Adhere to delivery schedules and deadlines to ensure on-time deliveries.
Inventory Management: Verify the accuracy of items being delivered, and report any discrepancies to the supervisor or dispatcher.
Communication: Keep open lines of communication with dispatchers or supervisors to provide updates on delivery progress.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license for the type of vehicle to be operated.
Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy packages.
Knowledge of local roadways and routes.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and responsibly.
Additional Requirements:
Delivery Drivers may need to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
