Job Description
To receive patients and record details concerning the patient, which includes name, age, sex, diagnosis and previous history.
• To prepare the patients for the E.E.G recording
• To clean the scalp before the recording is started, cleaning the 22 points where the electrodes are to be placed
• To apply jelly and place the electrodes in the 22 areas
• To start the recording of EEG with special test procedures like Sphenoidal or with polygraphic studies.
• To disconnect all equipment from patient pertaining to the test procedure.
• Prior to the procedure explain about it.
