Position Overview:
We are seeking an Electrical Apprentice or Helper with 2+ years of experience to join our team for a project in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work alongside skilled electricians on commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have some experience in commercial electrical work and a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the installation of electrical systems, including pulling wire, bending conduit, and installing fixtures.
• Support electricians in connecting wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
• Follow instructions to help test and troubleshoot electrical systems as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure full PPE is worn at all times.
• Work collaboratively with a team and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience as an Electrical Apprentice or Helper, preferably in commercial settings.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Must have reliable transportation and own basic hand tools.
• Full PPE required, including a harness.
• Ability to work a full 40-hour workweek from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Compensation:
• Pay is dependent on experience: $18-$1+ per hour.
