About the project:
The project funded by the Government focuses on developing and demonstrating drone and allied technologies. The project will address various applications through the utilization of advanced technologies and critical infrastructure. Strong industry connections and collaborations will be fostered to solve pertinent challenges and drive technological advancements. Additionally, comprehensive drone training and awareness programs will be provided to ensure proficiency and understanding among people.
Qualification and Key Skills Required:
• PhD with relevant experience OR
MTech / ME or equivalent degree with relevant experience OR
BTech / BE or equivalent degree with relevant experience
• Experience in designing and implementing automated systems, Motion control, Servo drives, actuators sensors and feedback control systems.
• Proficiency in PLC based I/O handling and programing.
• Proficiency in using simulation software like MATLAB, PLECS, PSIM, LTspice, and TINA to test and analyze circuits before implementation.
• Knowledge of field instruments and Industrial automation.
• Familiarity with Panel design, switch gears and wiring diagram, PCB design software (Altium, OrCAD) and the principles of PCB layout for power electronics.
• Familiarity with robotics, SCADA, or IoT integration in automation.
• Ability to work on cross Platforms like Arduino, Nvidia Orin , Intel NUC
• Experience in circuit analysis, control theory, simulation, and programming.
• Knowledge of HMI, SBC, IPC programing
• Knowledge of RS 232, RS 485, Modbus, Profibus CAN communication.
• Knowledge of OPC server implementation.
Job Profile:
• Conceptualize, design, and implement electrical and automation solutions for the multi-
level drone docking system, ensuring seamless integration with mechanical systems.
• Develop, program, and optimize PLC, HMI for industrial automation systems.
• Select, integrate, and calibrate sensors and actuators to ensure smooth operation of the
system.
• Design and Fabrication of customised PCBs, using test equipment like oscilloscopes,
power analysers, and mustimeters to characterize and troubleshoot power electronic
systems.
• Design and implement efficient power distribution systems ensuring optimal energy
management and system reliability.
• Lead the development of electrical prototypes, perform testing, and troubleshoot any
electrical or automation issues to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Develop and optimize automation software for system control, including algorithms for
positioning, error detection, and performance optimization.
• Provide technical documentation, including electrical design specifications, automation
protocols, testing procedures, and detailed reports.
• Perform Simulations on various Power Circuits and PCBs and suggest changes
• Assist in overseeing the fabrication, assembly, and testing of electrical components and
subsystems, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Any other work assigned as per requirement.
