As part of our Advanced Facilities Group, you will oversee significant projects in the industrial and semiconductor sectors, working alongside a team of seasoned professionals to achieve remarkable outcomes.

Role Summary

As the Electrical Construction Superintendent, you will lead various aspects of assigned projects, ensuring effective execution and management of timelines, budgets, and team coordination. This role will allow you to demonstrate your leadership skills in a supportive environment committed to your growth.
• Make decisions within your authority and collaborate with supervisors on more complex issues.
• Pathway to advancement: Move toward the role of Superintendent 3.

Key Responsibilities
• Champion safety culture, promoting an injury-free environment through your actions and mentoring others.
• Manage subcontractors, staff, and overall job flow to ensure project efficiency.
• Create effective work plans for both subcontracted and in-house work.
• Oversee project site management, maintaining control over materials and equipment.
• Facilitate daily and weekly meetings, ensuring clear project updates and communication.
• Adjust project schedules as necessary and track budgets to meet financial goals.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and manage project documentation effectively.
• Drive project closeout processes, coordinating with clients and stakeholders.
• Understand the project pursuit methodology and help in pre-planning and execution.
• Support talent acquisition by identifying and recruiting skilled individuals.
• Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion within your team.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in verbal and written communication.
• Competence in conducting presentations and using project management software.
• Ability to understand construction management fundamentals and apply them effectively.
• Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with team members.

Education & Experience
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of construction experience with a focus on field supervision.
• Experience with Lean principles preferred.

Working Environment
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle occasional travel or relocation.
• Willingness to work in varying conditions and non-traditional hours as needed.
