Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer Qualifications:- BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in an electrical engineering discipline, from an accredited college or university.Role And Responsibilities:-Assists in the preparation of forecasts, quantity take-offs and change orders.Define customer needs and requirements.Participates in and fosters a work environment that is based upon directness, trustBroad progressive relevant work experience in basic & detailed engineering preferably in an EPC industry for large industrial plants, power projects, utilities, process plantsDevelop manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standards.Evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications. Monitors project controls within discipline.Reviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors of a moderate degree of complexity and prepares comments & recommendations. communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.Performs electrical discipline work which involves the preparation, interpretation, or review of calculations, specifications, electrical layout plans including lighting and grounding, investigations, surveys, structures, systems, or equipment with relatively few complex features.System design, including concept sketches and layoutsPerforms assignments, which have clear and specific objectives and require the investigation of a limited number of variables for an engineering discipline within a global business unit.Testing of materialsPreparation of specifications and design calculationsReviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by other engineers or by suppliersPreparation or review of engineering studies and reportsPreparation or review of material quantity estimatesUses engineering computer-aided design/computer-aided engineering (CAD/CAE) toolsPrepares letters for replies to vendor correspondence.Participates in one or more Smart Plant Electrical (SPEL)Technical knowledge of engineering systems, engineering calculations, applications of engineering methods and construction methods and materials, and application of computer-aided engineering (CAE)/computer-aided design (CAD) tools to engineering problems.Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time.Knowledge of Building Power Management which includes controlling and monitoring of Buildingâ  s mechanical and electrical equipment such as HVAC, lighting, power systems, fire systems, access control and security systems.Equipment design and developmentReview of 3D Model in S3D and Autodesk Revit using SPR or Navisworks and be a stakeholder in 30%, 50% and +0% Model Reviews with Clients, Vendors and Sub Contractors.Knowledge of project controls within discipline.Good knowledge of the major industry or regulatory standards and design criteria pertinent to the engineering discipline.Basic skills in oral and written communication.Experience in preparing technical specifications, datasheets, material requisitions and vendor print reviews for various electrical equipmentKnowledge of SPEL for preparation of load list, MCC schedule etc.Experience in various electrical layouts like grounding, raceways and lighting etc.Design, control, and implement electrical systems and products.
