Excelsior Electrical has been serving Adelaide and the surrounding areas since 2015, providing comprehensive electrical design, installation, maintenance, and repair services for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, including lighting, power systems, air conditioning circuits, and specialized industrial electrical support projects. Due to continued business growth, we are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team to support multiple electrical projects across South Australia.
Responsibility:
Assist engineers and technical staff in designing, implementing, testing, modifying, and maintaining electrical equipment and systems.
Collect test data, perform tests and complex calculations, and prepare test results in charts and tables.
Estimate material usage, cost, and quantity for electrical projects to support budgeting and procurement.
Prepare electrical installation and wiring layouts, plans, and drawings to support project execution.
Ensure designs and installations comply with standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
Calibrate, modify, and maintain electrical equipment and systems in workshops and onsite.
Perform tasks related to testing, measuring, and protecting relays, metering, and indicating equipment.
Assist in technical experiments, and technical projects.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical engineering technician experience.
Hands-on experience in testing and maintaining electrical systems within an industrial environment is highly desirable.
Relevant electrical engineering technician qualification or equivalent (Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Associate Degree).
Ability to read, interpret, and draft electrical schematics and designs.
Familiarity with testing instruments, data analysis, and electrical equipment safety standards.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with engineers, project teams, and clients.
Ability to work in various workplace environments (office, site, electrical rooms).
Binlingual is preferred.
Licence/Certification Preferred:
Relevant electrical qualification or equivalent experience
Driver Licence
White Card (or ability to obtain)
CPR (or ability to obtain)

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
