Job Description
Solar electrical helpers will be working on a community-sized, ground-mounted commercial solar farm. They will assist the electricians on the electrical scope of the project. They will work in small teams to complete the assembly of the racking system. Tasks include staging materials, pulling wire, completing connections, conduit installation, completing home runs, and assisting the electricians on various tasks. Candidates may also assist with non-electrical tasks like assembling racking or work site clean up.
Hard Skills
• 1+ years experience in solar racking or solar electrical work
• Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/8th of an inch
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Solar Electrician
• Apprentice electrician
• Wire pulling
• MC 4 connections

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Whitesboro, New York.
Work Environment
The project is in an old farm field. Conditions can be wet and muddy; you may also work in inclement weather. The hours are M-F, 7:30 am-5:00 pm, and Saturday, 7:30 am-4:00 pm. Saturdays are mandatory when requested.
