We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electrical Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate would be an individual with no, on the job experience, or one year experience, but has basic knowledge of electrical terms. Outlets, switches, light fixtures and how they work. Will be assisting experienced electricians in various tasks related to electrical installations and repairs within residential/commercial settings. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while contributing to the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities
• Assist electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
• Help with the installation of high voltage systems as directed by senior electricians.
• Support the team in ensuring compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety protocols while on-site.
Skills
• Basic understanding of electrical concepts and terminology.
• Proficiency in using a voltmeter and other electrical testing equipment.
• Experience with frame carpentry is a plus, aiding in the installation of electrical fixtures.
• Knowledge of NEC regulations is preferred for ensuring compliance during installations.
• Comfortable working on construction sites, demonstrating physical stamina for various tasks.
• Competence in handling hand tools and power tools safely is essential.
• Willingness to learn about high voltage systems and assist in their installation.
