Job Overview

We are an electrical contractor looking for an office assistant to help with daily in office co-ordination, including scheduling, administration, purchasing and general office work. We see this position having potential to move in to a project manager/estimator position. Job hours would be flexible as full time is currently not a requirement.

Previous experience of some capacity in the electrical field would is preferred.

Duties

Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.

Assist in scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for staff members.

Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.

Ensure that office supplies are stocked and organized, placing orders when necessary.

Collaborate with team members to improve office efficiency and streamline administrative processes.

Requirements

Previous experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar administrative role is preferred.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively

Proficiency in using computer systems, viewing/editing PDF documents, excel, word

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.3+-$21.15 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
