We are seeking an Electrical Operations Technician to join our team at BOSS Energy's facility in East Anglia.
Job Summary
• Operate and maintain electrical equipment at the company's first industrial Pilot Plant in Norfolk, which employs carbon negative DAC technology.
• Record and analyze operational data over extended periods to ensure sustained performance.
• Collaborate with the Plant Operations Manager to implement the pilot plant's experimental plan.
• Regularly report on unit performance, focusing on failure modes and suggesting improvements.
• Investigate equipment failures using various analytical methods to identify underlying causes and suggest corrective actions.
• Assist the Plant Operations Manager in introducing site visitors when necessary.
• Showcase your experience in operations and maintenance, especially in commissioning, starting up, and maintaining diverse electrical equipment.
• Operation and repair of electrical equipment are crucial skills.
• The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the electrical sector.
Essential Requirements
• Desirable: Experience with managing and repairing R&D pilot facilities.
• Possess suitable safety certifications, such as NEBOSH.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement practices is beneficial.
• Hold an Engineering Level 3 certification (advantageous).
• Demonstrate a solid grasp of hazard and risk identification principles.
Earnings
The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 per annum, reflecting the level of expertise required and the specific demands of the role in the East Anglia region.
