Electrical Project Manager / Junior Estimator
Location: Sydney, NSW

We are a well-established Sydney-based electrical contracting business delivering high-end residential and large-scale commercial projects. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Junior Estimator to join our team.
This role suits a licensed electrician looking to transition off the tools (or already doing so) into a project-focused and estimating-support position, working closely with senior management and clients.
About the Role
You will be responsible for assisting with project delivery from pre-construction through to completion, as well as supporting estimating, procurement, and client coordination.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing electrical projects from planning to handover
Assisting with estimating, take-offs, budgets, and variations
Coordinating labour, materials, suppliers, and subcontractors
Liaising with builders, consultants, clients, and internal teams
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
Ensuring compliance with AS/NZS standards and WHS requirements
Tracking costs, progress claims, and project reporting
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Minimum 10 years’ electrical trade experience
At least 5 years’ experience working in Australia
Full Australian NSW Electrical Licence (essential)
Full Australian NSW Driving Licence (essential)
Proven experience on high-end residential and large commercial projects
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
Confidence dealing with clients, builders, and consultants
Highly regarded but not essential:
Experience with communications and data networks
Exposure to estimating software and project management systems
Previous experience in a Project Manager, Supervisor, or Estimator role
