About The Role
We're excited to announce that we are on the lookout for a skilled and energetic Electrical Technician to work within our tight-knit, friendly and professional Manufacturing Maintenance team in Kalgoorlie.
The Electrical Technician is responsible for Maintaining the Manufacturing Facilities and Services on the Kalgoorlie Explosive Reserve. Working within a small maintenance team, the primary focus of the role will be working as a hands-on Maintenance Electrician across preventative maintenance schedules, breakdowns & shutdowns.
This opportunity is residential to Kalgoorlie, so therefore all interested parties must have their own accommodation as FIFO is not on offer. The roster for this role is a 4 day week with 3 days off with a 5 day week every 4th week.

What you will be doing
Work with the maintenance resources to support the operation of the plants at the reserve;
Work alongside the Maintenance Superintendent to develop maintenance solutions that cost effectively support long term plant operation;
Ensuring work practices and environment comply with SH&E standards; and
Working with the Production Teams in developing Continuous Improvement Initiatives, from concept through to implementation.
How You Shape And Influence Others
Trade qualification in Electrical & Instrumentation (essential);
Electrical license;
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment;
SAP experience (desirable);
Strong safety focus; and
Excellent written and communication skills.
