Electrical / Telecommunications Trades Assistant (Full-Time)
Noonan Real Estate Agency is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Electrical / Telecommunications Trades Assistant for a full-time position located in New South Wales, Australia.
Position: Electrical / Telecommunications Trades Assistant
Employment Type: Full-time (38 hours per week)
Location: NSW, Australia
Salary: AUD $70,000 – $85,000 plus superannuation (commensurate with skills and experience)
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Assisting electricians and telecommunications technicians with installation, maintenance and repair works
Supporting cabling, data, phone and internet installations (where permitted and supervised)
Assisting with testing and fault-finding of electrical and telecommunications systems
Running cables, preparing materials, and setting up work sites
Installing and replacing fixtures, fittings, conduits and basic equipment under supervision
Loading, unloading, and transporting tools, equipment and materials between sites
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
Following WHS procedures and site safety requirements at all times
Completing basic job documentation and reporting to supervisors/property managers
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
At least 2 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Trades Assistant, Telecommunications Trades Assistant, or similar role
Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical/telecommunications work
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Current Australian Driver Licence
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable (Not Essential)
White Card (Construction Induction)
Cabling registration (ACMA) or willingness to obtain
Previous experience in residential property maintenance environments
