Job Description
Carter Holt Harvey are seeking two self-motivated, quality focused individuals who are a qualified electricians with industrial electrical experience and may have control systems knowledge. This role is based at our Kawerau Mill where you will be reporting to the Electrical Supervisor. Shifts are day shifts, ether fixed or 4 on 4 off.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Either planned or responsive maintenance opportunities are available applying knowledge to ensure the plant maintenance and uptime is best in class.
Provide technical expertise for continuous improvement processes.
Ensure quality assurance of external vendors.
Maintain and update records
Follow health and safety requirements across site.
Carrying out shut work on shut days.
Occasional shift cover to cover absenteeism.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
Hold an EWRB registration, and can demonstrate strong expertise, analytical trouble shooting ability and excellent problem solving skills.
Preferably have control systems experience with control logics PLCs and fault finding on manufacturing plants, and automated safety systems.
Ability with reading and interpreting drawings.
Well organised, meets deadlines and is customer focused.
Have a health and safety, environmental and quality focus.
