Solventum is seeking Electro Mechanic A candidates to join our team in Irvine CA!
• Pay: $34.50 - $43.82/hour + shift differentials (varies by experience)
• Permanent Shift Details (depends on availability):
• 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday; 1:00pm - +:30pm) OR
• 3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday; +:00pm - 5:30am)
• Training Shift Details:
• 1st shift (Monday - Friday; 5:00am - 1:30pm)
• Estimated training period: 3 months - 1 year

The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As an Electro Mechanic A, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
• Installing, modifying, repairing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, inspecting, and calibrating industrial and commercial equipment used in production, laboratory, office and utility areas.
• Performing preventive maintenance procedures on production, facility, and safety equipment.
• Providing support as needed to Production and Engineering Groups for installation and optimization of new equipment and controls.
• Maintaining a clean, safe work environment and reporting unsafe work conditions, practices, or equipment to management immediately.
• Performing additional work assignments, such as plumbing, pipefitting, equipment rigging, millwright tasks, welding, and fabrication.
• Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
• Possess a High School Diploma/GED AND twelve (12) units of college/apprenticeship level course work in a mechanical and/or electrical field
OR
• Two (2) years of experience as an Electro Mechanic
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
• Prior mechanical equipment maintenance experience
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Ability to work one or more of the following shifts:
• 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday; 1:00pm - +:30pm)
• 3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday; +:00pm - 5:30am)
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
• Two (2) year technical degree or two (2) or more years of technical knowledge and practical application skills in a mechanical and/or electrical field
• Possess the knowledge and skillsets required to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical industrial equipment and devices.
• Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Teams, and SAP
• Ability to maintain the required quality and quantity of personal hand tools as listed by plant management.
