Circuit Design & Analysis
• Design high-performance analog and digital circuits for embedded systems.
• Create custom power supply circuits using buck/boost converters and linear regulators.
• Implement protection circuits against overvoltage, reverse polarity, ESD, and current limiting.
• Select intelligent components based on electrical, thermal, cost, and lifecycle considerations.
Embedded System Integration
• Interface microcontrollers with sensors and peripherals.
• Design communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, RS-485, and Ethernet.
Handle signal conditioning and level translation as needed.
• Ensure signal integrity, grounding, and noise mitigation in mixed-signal designs.
Schematic & PCB Development
• Develop production-ready schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts.
• Utilize Altium Designer, KiCAD, or Eagle for design and layout.
• Apply layout best practices including power distribution, trace impedance, and analog/digital isolation.
Prototyping, Testing & Validation
• Perform hardware bring-up and debugging using lab tools.
• Validate electrical functionality and system-level behavior.
• Maintain all design documentation including schematics, BOMs, Gerbers, test procedures, and reports.
• Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams for full-stack integration.
• Coordinate with external vendors for PCB fabrication and assembly.
