Hey there! We're on the hunt for a talented Electronics Firmware Engineer to develop cutting-edge firmware for innovative products. Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development of firmware for new products, ensuring robust and efficient solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and product designers, to define and implement firmware requirements for seamless integration within new product designs.
• Participate in the firmware development process from initial concept to implementation, adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
• Assist in developing and maintaining firmware architecture, coding standards, and best practices to support efficient firmware development.
• Conduct research to identify, evaluate, and integrate new technologies and tools to enhance firmware capabilities.
• Perform testing and validation to ensure the reliability, robustness, and performance of firmware in new product designs.
• Communicate progress and challenges with project stakeholders, providing timely updates and ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering
• Hands-on experience in firmware development for mechatronic or electronic products, preferably in a New Product Development (NPD) environment.
• Hands-on experience in developing firmware on ESP32, STM32, and Nordic nRF microcontrollers.
• Proficiency in embedded C/C++ programming with familiarity in firmware development tools, version control systems, and debugging methodologies.
• Experience in microcontroller-based firmware development, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, BLE, MQTT, and TCP/IP.
• Solid understanding of hardware-software integration, peripheral interfaces (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, ModBus), and electronic design principles.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt and innovate in a dynamic, fast-paced product design environment.
