Responsibilities:
To work according to Production Managers direction
Write work instructions as required.
Functional testing.
In-circuit testing.
Trouble shooting of faulty Modules.
Repair of faulty product.
Testing of final product.
To test and visually inspect to work instructions and procedures.
To recognise and quarantine non-conforming product.
To maintain production and quality records as required.
To keep work area clean and tidy.
To observe safety rules.
Must be able use a broad range of electronic equipment.
Must be able to solder, de-solder and identify all electronic components.
To be able to assist in R&D work.
To conduct activities in a safe, quality and environmentally responsible manner in accordance with Aldridge Traffic Controllers Quality, OH&S and Environmental policies and procedures.
Adhering to the guidelines set forth in the Code of Practice
Authority:
To stop production on the occurrence of non-conformance and immediately advise Manager.
To stop production if any of the testers require maintenance or repair.
Providing technical guidance and feedback within the scope of work to inspection personnel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate Diploma/Certificate in Engineering-Electronics would be beneficial.
Proved work experiences in an electronic manufacturing environment, good computer skills and good communication skills.
Experience in Electronics repairs to component level.
