Introduction:
Prime Services IT is seeking Architect level expert in Angular UI, JAVA Micro services backend and database with experience delivering innovative solutions in close collaboration with the Business.
Reporting to the technical development manager, the candidate will play a crucial role in the execution of the strategy, identifying opportunities to realize the strategic architecture within the constraints of regulatory milestones. The individual will be required to work closely with colleagues across Operation Technology Services (Trade Processing, Operation Data Store and Data Distribution) to ensure the technical solution leverages common components, standard proven patterns and engineering principles.
This is a great opportunity to help drive forward the strategy of a major expanding area within this global Bank on a strategic program.
What will you be doing?
• Hands on developer with ability to design reusable UI components. Implement and maintain backend infrastructure for our next generation Prime Electionification platform
• Able to execute the assigned project in time schedule and with minimal supervision.
• Follow the definition of development standards and process improvements.
• Work with Onshore team members and business users to get the business requirements, analyze them and prepare the technical specifications.
• Develop and test the software in desired technologies to Implement the business requirements
• Participate in project go live and post go live support activities.
• Develop Object Oriented Java programs and Write efficient, defect free (minimal defects) programs in Java/Spring/Spring Integration.
• Write unit test cases to test the code.
• Review code written by other team members
• Wherever required design/create database objects and write database stored procedures.
• Ensure release plans and coordinating release walkthroughs with the environment managers and Application Support teams
• Providing on-call support for releases where necessary
• Ensure requests from the Application support team is promptly responded
• Handle technical issues that are out of scope for the support staff.
What we're looking for:
Personal attributes essential to performing role including competencies, expertise, knowledge, and experience.
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Expert with 15+yrs of experience in Core Java (8 or above), Spring, SpringBoot, Hibernate, JPA and JQL.
• Expert in Micro Services architecture. OpenAPI, Experience of developing SpringBoot/REST based micro services.
• Expert Knowledge of Angular web frameworks (Angular 5+) with experience on JavaScript ,HTML, TypeScript.
• ++ years of experience in open source frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Spring Data, JPA etc.
• Ability to write Unit test cases and working experience of TDD frameworks such as Junit, Mockito, Groovy etc
• Exposure to SQL and relation databases with 5+ yrs of experience in this field. Knowledge Microsoft SQL is a plus. Must be able to write complex SQL, Performance optimization of SQL, views, Stored procedures etc.
• Knowledge of Messaging such as JMS (Active MQ, TIBCO EMS / IBM MQ)
• Worked in Agile environment, working knowledge of GIT/Stash repository, Dev-ops and CICD tools like Teamcity/Jenkins
• Experience in Banking/Financial domains
• Experience in using Linux/Unix platform for software deployment
• Experience of agile delivery in a data centric, regulatory environment
• Knowledge on GUI testing framework such as Jasmine/Karma
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Good understanding on architecture and design skills
• Team player and able to train/mentor junior members of the team.
• Experience in working with OpenFin framework.
