Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot various systems. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service while ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The Mechanic will work on a variety of tasks including installation, routine maintenance and emergency call outs for residential elevators along with B355 complaint commercial wheelchair lifts.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on residential and B355 elevator equipment.
Install residential and commercial B355 elevators and wheelchair lifts in compliance with TSBC and local building codes.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding installations, repairs and maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and homeowners to ensure timelines and expectations are met.
Qualifications
Class H elevator mechanic ticket, or CAT certification or Elevator Mechanic in Training.
Currently registered with TSBC
Proven mechanical knowledge and experience in elevator industry.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues.
Ability to read and understand technical manuals in English.
Minimum 2 years of field experience.
Valid Drivers licence with clean driving record

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
