Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Email Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing email marketing campaigns that engage our audience, drive traffic, and increase conversions. The Email Marketing Specialist will have a deep understanding of email marketing best practices, segmentation, A/B testing, and analytics to optimize campaign performance. This role requires a creative and data-driven mindset to deliver compelling email content and achieve marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Email Campaign Strategy: Develop and execute email marketing strategies to meet business objectives, such as lead generation, customer retention, product promotions, and more.
• Content Creation: Create engaging and personalized email content, including compelling subject lines, copywriting, and visuals, that resonate with the target audience.
• Segmentation and Targeting: Segment the email list based on customer behavior, demographics, and preferences to deliver highly relevant and targeted email campaigns.
• A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests on various email elements (subject lines, content, CTA buttons, etc.) to optimize open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
• List Management: Manage and maintain the email subscriber list, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
• Automation: Implement marketing automation workflows to nurture leads, onboard new customers, and send triggered emails based on user actions. (Tools: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, MailChimp, Webengage)
• Performance Analysis: Monitor email campaign performance metrics, track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Email Deliverability: Monitor and improve email deliverability rates, manage spam complaints, and maintain a clean email list.
• Compliance: Stay up-to-date with email marketing laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all email campaigns.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers, content creators, and data analysts, to ensure cohesive marketing campaigns.
• List Growth: Develop strategies to grow the email subscriber list organically through various channels, including website sign-ups, social media, and events.
• Customer Segmentation: Analyze customer data and behavior to create highly targeted and personalized email marketing campaigns.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
• 5 to 7 years of experience
• Proven experience in email marketing, with a strong portfolio of successful email campaigns.
• Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud etc.).
• Excellent copywriting and creative skills.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
• Knowledge of email marketing regulations and best practices.
• Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems is a plus.
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email template customization is a plus.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
