Email Marketing Specialist
**This is a remote position for candidates all over Canada. There is a chance we will move into an office in the GTA, however, we will always offer WFH employment.

We are hiring a full-time Design Specialist (Email & SMS)/Email Marketing Specialist to strategize, plan, write, design and develop, deploy, analyze, and own the email and SMS marketing efforts for our clients to help them reach their business goals.
Founded in 2015, we are a 20+ person Shopify Plus digital marketing agency working remotely and based in Toronto. We do everything related to digital marketing including, but not limited to; paid and organic social media, email/SMS marketing and automation, website design & development, influencer marketing, branding and design, Ecommerce & Amazon management, US based fulfillment, and online customer service, for clients across the world in industry verticals ranging from skincare, apparel, beauty, restaurants, home decor, CPGs, baby products, health and wellness, real estate, accounting, and more.
Some of our clients have been featured in Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Forbes, Business Insider, GOOP, and are sold in major retail chains like Walmart, Target, and Loblaws, and we even have a client who hosted the White House Correspondents Dinner!
WORK WITH US AND YOU WOULD BE:
Learning & Leading Subject Matter Expertise: being the person who knows everything there is about the email and SMS marketing channel, the accompanying softwares (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Attentive etc.), as well as best practices, industry updates, and trends, and supporting the team with your expertise to effectively provide In Social’s “Full Circle Approach to Digital Marketing” across all client deliverables.
Owning Email & SMS Success: owning the strategy, planning, content, list management, segmentation, and optimizations across a portfolio of email clients, and being responsible for their overall growth, as well as the results derived from them (open, click, revenue rates, etc.)
Creating, Designing, Developing & Managing Email & SMS Efforts: owning all email and SMS campaign and automation deliverables throughout their creation via the Adobe Suite and Figma, starting from strategizing, planning, copywriting, designing, developing, testing, prep, and through to deployment, leveraging the support of our Design and Development Manager, our Director of Brand Strategy, working alongside our copywriters and digital performance analyst to create the most beautiful and effective campaigns possible to reach and exceed client KPIs
Analyzing and Optimizing: working alongside our Digital Performance Analyst, as well as other strategic team members, to analyze individual account insights, as well as overarching portfolio trends to catch issues, identify opportunities, and build plans to optimize
Contributing to the Full Circle Approach: being a team player and collaborating across all service verticals to understand, adapt, strategize, and deliver email and SMS efforts that consider the entire customer journey, in an effort to deliver the best results possible to our clients.
Continuous Improvement: always improving your skill set, knowledge, and performance through self-development, training courses, webinars, as well as collaborating with, and taking feedback from, our Director of Brand strategy
Task Coordination: ensuring that all project tasks are completed within budget and on time, and collaborating with the Account and Project Managers to make adjustments to roadmaps if needed
