As a Senior Engineer / Principal Engineer at our company based in Ahmedabad, you will be responsible for various technical and other duties to ensure the successful design and development of embedded systems. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Understanding and writing requirements
- Estimating efforts for projects
- Architecting embedded systems based on customer needs
- Designing and developing embedded systems
- Reviewing designs and source code
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Ensuring on-time delivery of quality deliverables
Additionally, you will be expected to:
- Interact with customers directly, especially US or Europe based clients
- Provide value addition for customers
- Define technical training for the team
- Build and mentor team members
Your area of expertise should include:
- Excellent programming skills in C
- Proficiency in Linux Kernel programming and device driver embedded systems
- Experience in board bring up
- Understanding of various processor and microcontroller architectures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good debugging skills
- Hands-on experience with coding and tools
- Exposure to bare metal, RTOS, and device driver development is an added advantage
The skills required for this role are:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Previous experience with direct customer interaction (US or Europe based) is a plus
- Ability to write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code in an Agile environment
- Participation in feature and design discussions
- Creation of design documents and peer reviews
- Code review, documentation development, capacity planning, and live debugging on innovative IoT devices
Education Criteria: B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or Computer Engineering.
