Responsibilities
Focuses on a range of embedded firmware development actives to create a high-quality embedded product.
Demonstrate a passion for problem solving, and attention to detail.
Design and develop software required for products in appropriate programming languages (C, & C++ development environments).
Understand functional requirements for product, design and implement firmware modules accordingly.
Work closely with other developers/teams to ensure proper interoperability for products.
Work closely with verification and validation (test) team to ensure full test coverage, and closure of reported firmware defects.
Document code functionality and using best practices followed in organization.
Work with technical support to diagnose and troubleshoot customer issues.
Be productive with increased quality, reduced costs, and improved efficiency.
Demonstrate strong knowledge in the firmware development domain.
Responsible for the maintenance of current software including feature enhancements, performance increases, troubleshooting, testing, and bug fixing
