Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing software of embedded Linux systems using Python
Designing, developing, coding, testing and debugging system software
Analyzing and enhancing efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
Develop and maintain the software stack, including Flask, Redis, Postgres, and Bleak.
Utilize Balena.io and Docker to deploy and manage the software stack on embedded Linux systems.
Update dependencies and test hardware to ensure the software is running smoothly on embedded Linux systems.
Clean up container modules, and add additional error checking and fault recovery to improve the robustness of the software.
Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and implement new features and functionality.
Ensure software quality by performing unit testing, code review and bug fixing.
Work with serial inputs to communicate with devices
Participate in team meetings, daily stand-ups and sprint reviews
Skills and Experience:
Strong experience with Python development, particularly with embedded Linux systems
Experience with Balena.io and Docker containerization.
Knowledge of Flask, Redis, Postgres, and Bleak
Hands-on experience with embedded development tools and troubleshooting methodologies
Must have hands-on experience with hardware communication interfaces
Experience with Git version control
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Having Knowledge of C and C++ is an advantage
