In collaboration with the USA based Aircraft OEM, Vijigi is developing an integrated avionics platform for civil aircrafts with vertically integrated systems, software and hardware that achieves streamlined cockpit experience for pilots, as well as smooth maintenance and ownership experiences for crew and aircraft owners.

We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Embedded Software Application Development Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in embedded software development for safety-critical systems, particularly in the context of Model-Based Design (MBD).
About the Role - Key Responsibilities:
Model-Based Software Development:
• Learn and apply MBD techniques using tools like MATLAB/Simulink.
• Assist in generating code from models and integrating it into the target system.
Software Development:
• Develop and test software modules under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Implement software design specifications into code.
• Write clear, concise, and well-documented code.
Real-Time Systems:
• Gain exposure to real-time operating systems (RTOS) and their concepts.
• Assist in implementing tasks, interrupts, and resource management.
Testing and Verification:
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and system testing.
• Use debugging tools to identify and fix software defects.
Collaboration:
• Collaborate with other engineers to understand system requirements and ensure seamless integration.
• Work with experienced engineers to learn best practices and industry standards.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming language.
• Basic understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile.
• Basic understanding of Model-Based Design (MBD) concepts and tools like MATLAB/Simulink.
• Familiarity with software development tools (e.g., debuggers, version control systems Git).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
