Responsibilities

You will lean on your embedded systems experience, thorough understanding of rigorous software development processes, and hands-on skills to solve a wide range of technical problems encountered during the development of next generation avionics systems

You will work with System Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Software Developers, and other technical professionals

You will be successful when system requirements are met through combined efforts of Platform Hardware, Platform Software, and Applications Software Development teams

You will leverage your experience to provide software development expertise and guidance to high quality designs for our customers that are safe, reliable, and maintainable

Use effective verbal and written communications, technical drawings, and physical demonstration as needed to work with multi-disciplinary teams

Capture, understand, document, and review the software requirements, design, code, and test

Support the development and management of software requirements, design, code and test baselines to enable development and integration

Support the change control process, managing change control reports and generating and reporting metrics

Perform work in accordance with DO-178C

Demonstrate interest in the program vision through all endeavors

An Embedded Software Developer position based in Grand Rapids, Michigan 4+512 is currently available at Belcan.
